Who is Dr. Hall?

Gayle Hall, is liberal in her thought processes, deliberate in action, and compassionate in her belief of helping others. Her heart is tender — Dr. Hall is always pulling for the underdog. Why is this so?

The Story of How Gayle Became Dr. Hall on Call®

Skinny, scrawny, redhead, and freckle-faced as a little girl, Gayle was bullied during elementary days in school. She was the outcast very early on —the last one chosen for sports teams, the one who cried when nobody would sit next to her during lunch, and the only one without a bunking buddy during summer camp all those years. Middle school was worse. During high school, Gayle moved, started dating, but still didn’t fit in with any of the subgroups.

Gayle married young and for the next two decades, she raised her children, owned her own business and became successful. After 17 years of marriage, she filed for divorce. Gayle was afraid of being alone and remarried almost immediately. She became a victim of domestic violence, emotionally and psychologically, on a daily basis. Her life was ruled by fear. She was afraid as a young child and now as an adult, became even more terrified. She feared for her life on more than one night. Finally, the abuse came to an end.

Gayle started college seriously at the age of 38. She waited so long to go to college because she was afraid of failing at this also. Fear of failure causes many people to never even try what it is that tugs at their heartstrings. Fear is so powerful, but we can beat it!

So why even tell you this story about Gayle Hall, PhD?

The purpose of sharing this story is to let you know that Gayle was/is a “normal” person just like you. She climbs out of her bed every morning, puts her feet on the floor, and drags into the kitchen to have that first cup of java. She has sacrificed much to earn her PhD; nevertheless, she is just like you. She has sought the help of a Coach and a Psychotherapist and considers this to be one of the smartest moves she has ever made. Regardless of the circumstances in life, even when you hit rock bottom, you can pick yourself back up again if you have help. The strongest people will know when to raise their hand and say, “I want you!” Gayle began to finally know herself and what is funny, is she thought she knew who she was all those years before. But guess what? She was not living her dream life of helping people on a much broader scale. She is a Life Coach, a Best-Selling Author, Mentor, Professor, and someone you cannot shove into a box and put a lid on, someone who has to rally others and coach others into living their dream lives. Transforming her life meant that she could help others transform their lives also. Gayle Joplin Hall is a change agent on a mission to work with many in dumping their fears. Dr. Hall is living her ultimate dream and you can also!

Dr. Gayle Hall wants you to live the life you imagined, instead of waiting for that life to come and find you. As the quote, written by Gayle Hall, in the beginning segment declares, “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. Knowing myself is the beginning of all wisdom.” Let go… and live a life filled free from fear!
